Abstract

PURPOSE: To manufacture the metallic pipe of excellent cylindrical shape with a high productivity, by employing a couple of flanged vertical rolls and the internal rolling roll for restraining the movement of the material at one or more points in the circumference from inside of the inner wall surface of the metallic strip.
CONSTITUTION: The internal center roll (a) and the external lower roll (c) pinch and restrain the metallic strip M just undergoing the forming pass.
