Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the excessive increase in terminal voltage of capacitors by making charge so that the terminal voltages of a plurality of capacitors connected in series may come to a voltage value inversely proportional to the electrostatic capacitance values thereof. CONSTITUTION:A condenser group C is provided by connecting a plurality of capacitors in series so that the output current from a rectifying circuit Rec may commonly flow as charge current therein. The DC power supply device is made of a control means COMP charging the capacitors group C until the terminal voltage becomes a first fixed value and immediately stopping this charge and re-charge preventive means FF1 and FF2 preventing the re-charge of the capacitors group until the terminal voltage of the capacitors group becomes lower than a second value smaller than the first value after the stop of the charge. Thereby, all the charges accumulated in the capacitors become equal and the terminal voltages thereof come to the values proportional to electrostatic capacitance values.
