Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent accidents in a spring conveyor for grains by providing a torque sensor on the driving shaft of a conveyor-spring to detect the choking of a discharge chute for loosening transmission belts.
CONSTITUTION: A suction part 37 is put into grains, and as a conveyor-spring 33 is rotated, grains are discharged via a dischrage chute 15. When the discharge chute is choked, the increase of the torque in the conveyor-spring 33 is detected by a torque sensor 31. When the limit switch in the torque sensor 31 is operated, a solenoid is set on, and belts 25 and 27 are loosened to intercept power. Meanwhile, when the discharge chute is returned to a normal state, the limit switch is opened, and belts 25 and 27 are again operated normally.
