Abstract

PURPOSE: To simply perform speed control by a method wherein taking a coasting speed signal as a command value, the load of a dynamometer is adjusted with a speed control loop.
CONSTITUTION: A switch 82 is changed-over to the output side of a speed control circuit 40 to form a speed control loop and along with this, a signal corresponding to a given test maximum speed is introduced as command value of the speed control circuit 40. A dynamometer 1 of DC motor system operates as a driving source, thus, controlling the speed to the test maximum speed. Next, a switch 81 is changed-over to the side of a memory circuit 71, and making the coasting speed signal stored thereat a speed command value, a coasting speed control operation is performed by means of the speed control loop. When a travelling resistance is reproduced and controlled in the dynamometer system by connecting a test body 4, a switch 82 is changed-over to the side of a memory circuit 72 and the storage value of an address corresponding to the output of a speed detector 11 corresponding to the operation speed of the test body 4 is introduced as the command value of a current controller 20, thus, load control of the dynamometer 1 being performed.
