Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize a quick measurement for the blood emergent test items with the minimum amount of blood gathered, by arranging in series the sample absorbing means, the measuring means of the blood pH and gas, the electrolyte measuring means and the biochemical component measuring means each. CONSTITUTION:The sample is injected into the injection part 3 via the sample cup 2 or the microcylinder 4 and thus moved within the flow path system in the form of a band held between the standard solution 1. Then the sample enters the blood gas measuring part 16 to have a contact with the pH electrode 5, P02 electrode 6, PC02 electrode 7 and reference electrode 8 each. Thus the potential difference is measured to the electrode 8 to be displayed in the form of the density. After this, the sample is made to pass through the electrolyte measuring part 17, the P02 electrode 14, the enzyme reactor 15 formed by solidifying the glucose oxidase and the enzyme reactor 21 formed by solidifying the urease each. Thus the electrolyte, the dissolved enzyme, the amount of glucose and the amount of urea nitrogen each are measured or calculated to be displayed. The sample measured is absorbed by the pump 24 and then exhausted.
