Abstract

PURPOSE: The titled composition, capable of showing a powerful adhesion even on a hydrophobic adhered, and prepared by adding an isocyanate compound to an aqueous solution of a water-soluble high polymer, treating the mixture at a specific temperature to form a main component, and incorporating an isocyanate compound, etc. as a crosslinking agent with the main component.
CONSTITUTION: A composition prepared by adding (B) 0.5W50wt%, based on a component (A), a compound having two or more isocyanate groups in the molecule, e.g. tolylene diisocyanate, and/or epoxy compound, e.g. alicyclic epoxy compound, to (A) an aqueous solution consisting of a high polymer, e.g. PVA, and/or aqueous emulsion, e.g. a copolymer of vinyl acetate and ethylene, as a main component, treating and reacting the mixture at 5W100°C or below preferably 30W60°C, to form a main component, and then incorporating 2W100wt%, based on the total polymer, the component (B) as a crosslinking agent in use.
EFFECT: Improved initial adhesion, water resistance and weather resistance.
