Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to produce good directivity and bright screen in a short time, by forming the screen surface with the continuous material of minute unit spheres arranged regularly and by forming the plane of the unit sphere into a hexagon.
CONSTITUTION: For example, pits 2 of prescribed arrangement and depth are formed zigzag on glass plate 1 by the photoetching method. Next, when etching is caused to advance with pit 2 as the center, the concave mirror face of a regular arrangement having hexagonal plane spheres 3 is obtained. Thus, scattering directivities different in vertical direction and horizontal direction are obtained.
