Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent swing-turning of a polyhedral mirror and make optical axis adjustment easy by fixing the specified polyhedral mirror to a revolving shaft by means of a flexible member, providing a plurality of float members fixedly to a substrate in the position symmetrical with respect to the revolving shaft, in opposition to the reference plane of the polyhedral mirror, and making the angle of said substrate with respect to the revolving shaft variable.
CONSTITUTION: A sleeve 3 is fixed to the revolving shaft 2 of a motor 1 and the central part of a flexible member 4 is fixed to its upper part. The outside edge of the flexible member 4 is fixed with a polyhedral support ring 5. A polyhedral mirror 6 having mirror faces 6-1 is fixed to the support ring 5. On the other hand, a pivot 14 having a spherical bearing part is fixed to the motor 1. The substrate 8-2 fixed with three float members 7 in the positions symmetrical to the revolving shaft is supported to the spherical bearing part 14-1 in opposition to the reference plane 6-2 of the polyhedral mirror 6. Adjusting the inclination of the substrate 8-2 enables the easy adjustment of the optical axis of the polyhedral mirror 6. In addition, the swing-turning of the polyhedral mirror may be eliminated.
