Abstract

PURPOSE:To remove sine-wave pulsating voltage at a neutral point of a boosting rectifying circuit bt a mechanism wherein variable capacitors are mounted among each output terminal and the neutral point of the circuit. CONSTITUTION:Balance resistors R1, R2 and variable capacitors CA, CB having values closely resembling distributed capacity CP, CQ existing in parallel with the resistors are mounted among each output terminal A.B and a neutral point O of a Cockcroft type boosting rectifying circuit. The both capacitors are interlocked and varied keeping the relationship of (1-x)CA+xCB= constant (where 0<x<1). Thus, when AC voltage emerging at both terminals of the resistors R1, R2 is controlled and the absolute value of both voltage is equalized, the AC voltage of the neutral point O is reduced to zero volt, and pulsating voltage generated at a high voltage output terminal T can be removed.
