Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable the manufacture of different kinds of products in an identical line, by attaching fixtures to both the sides of a rotatable base.
CONSTITUTION: Fixtures such as parts loaders 38, 39 and work gauges 40, 41, 42 are provided on both the obverse and reverse sides of a rotatable base 8 so that the fixtures can be revolved by an air motor 18. According to this constitution, two kinds of workpieces (vehicle bodies 1) can be processed in an identical line. This results in greatly facilitating combined production and saving time for exchange of the fixtures.
