Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a catalyst for dehydrogenation reaction, having a high side reaction suppression as well as a high selectivity, by supporting a compund of Fe, etc., on a metallic material structure partitioning a fluid pathway leading from inlet to outlet.
CONSTITUTION: A dehydrogenation catalyst, on which a monoolefin or alkylated aromatic compound is dehydrogenated to form conjugated diene or alkenylated aromatic compound, is obtained by holding one or more of the compounds of Fe, Cr, or other elements on a metallic material structure having plural pathways leading from the inlet to the outlet of fluid, partitioned by thin walls. The catalyst can lower the whole pressure of reaction system because of less pressure loss and also can raise the selective formation of objective compound because of its high side reaction suppression.
