PURPOSE:To make it possible to achieve highly reliable time detection with a simple mechanism, by reading code pattern of watch data provided in a rotary disc and keeping it in memory synchronously with rotation of the disc. CONSTITUTION:A disc A, which rotates together with a watch axis as a continous body, is provided with code patterns P0-P11 expressing all the hours 0-11, and bits b0-b4... of the patterns P0-P11 are read out via contacts t1-t3, and bits b0-b2... which form the patterns P0-P11 are memorized by FF F1, F2. Transfer of this memory and the memory content to a latch circuit L are controlled by rotation of a disc A and synchronism of a clock which are added to the FF F1, F2.
