Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a resin having improve impacet resistance in molding a thin- walled molded article, thermal stability and moldability in high-temperature residence molding, by grafting a vinyl aromatic monomer, vinyl cyanide monomer, etc. onto polymer latex of a specific conjugated diene rubber. CONSTITUTION:(B) (a) A mixture of a vinyl aromatic monomer, (b) a vinyl cyanide monomer, and (c) an alkyl (meth)acrylate is grafted onto (A) polymer latex of a conjugated diene rubber having at least 70wt% conjugated diene monomer and an average particle diameter 0.2-1mu. A weight ratio of the ingredient A to B is 10-25/90-75, a weight ratio of (a+b) to c is 85-98/15-2, the ingredients A and B are added dividedly or one by one continuously, and a combination of an organic hydroperoxide as a polymerization initiator and a reducing agent is used.
