Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve physical properties, e.g. tensile strength, etc. of molded articles, by adding a graft copolymer, prepared by grafting a vinyl monomer onto polypropylene, to a resin composition comprising polypropylene and a styrene resin.
CONSTITUTION: (A) 100 parts by wt. of a resin composition comprising 2W98 parts by wt. of polypropylene and 98W2 parts by wt. of a styrene resin is incorporated with (B) 0.1W50 parts by wt. of a graft copolymer prepared by grafting a vinyl monomer onto polypropylene. A radically polymerizable aromatic vinyl monomer, unsaturated nitrile, α, β-monoolefinically unsaturated carboxylate, etc. may be preferably used as the vinyl monomer.
EFFECT: Good moldability, low molding shrinkage, high rigidity, improved adhesiveness, dyeability, and plating properties.
USE: Light electrical and automobile parts, and construction materials
