Abstract
PURPOSE:To prepare the said film excellent in transparency, tensile strength, fracture elongation by a method wherein a resin composition containing a specified copolymer is cold-stretched after it has been extruded in a tube form, quenched and cured. CONSTITUTION:After an ethylenecopolimer containing 50wt% or more of one or more copolimer selected from a copolymer (A) of vinylester monomer and ethylene, a copolymer (B) of aliphatic unsaturated carbonic acid (alkylester) and ethylene, and an ionomer (C) induced from (B) have been extruded in a tube form at 180- 280 deg.C, quenched and cured in a liquid solvent, high energy rays are irradiated as occasion demands and treated into boiling xylene insoluble gel of 0-70wt%, MI:2 or less. Then, this film is cold-stretched at 80 deg.C or less, preferably, at a temperature 20 deg.C lower than the Vicat softening point of the polymer up to an area stretching magnification of 5-30 times and an ethylene copolymer highly stretched film is obtained at a tensile strength of 5kg/mm.<2> or more, at a 20% shrinking temperature of 85 deg.C or less, at a shrinking inclination of 1.5 or less.
