Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the width of the occupied frequency band and then realize an effective use of the frequency, by transmitting the suppressed carrier both side band signal having such relation in which the frequency difference between the upper and lower side bands turns to the frequency of the low-frequency audible signal which is a signal source and in the form of the radio signal. CONSTITUTION:The circuit 1b is installed to the radio transmitter/receiver 1 to give a 1/2 frequency step-down to the aural signal f1 which was converted through the carrier generator 1c, the balanced modulator 1d and the microphone 1a each. At the same time, the reception part RX is installed to the transmitter/receiver 1 to be used alternately with the transmission part. Then a balanced modulatin is given via the modulator 1d to the carrier wave of the frequency f0 (f0>f1) supplied from the generator 1c and by the step-down signal f1/2 delivered from the generator 1c and by the frequency f0+ or -f1/2 is used for the upper and lower side bands to deliver the suppressed carrier both side band modulation signal f0+ or -f1/2.
