Abstract

PURPOSE: To decrease a pressure loss in a suction/feed chamber by a construction wherein a guide member is provided in front of a transfer pipe in the suction/feed chamber, upper and lower ends of the guide member are fixed on upper and lower walls of the suction/feed chamber, thus minimizing a fluidized resistance of concrete.
CONSTITUTION: A guide member 28 is provided in front of a transfer pipe 9 in a suction/feed chamber C alternately from a pair of pump cylinders 3, 3' is guided to a discharge pipe 5 by the guide member 28. Then, a contact area of boundary whereat a fluidized concrete faces a static concrete can be minimized, a resistance of the fluidized concrete is kept less working to decrease a pressure loss in the suction/feed chamber C, a wasteful consumption of power can be prevented thereby and an excessive load will not be applied on a power source.
