Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the effective suppression of radio noise radiation at an ignition discharge time without damaging a plasma energy, by a method wherein a radio noise generation source is covered with a shield tube by containing a high-pressure charging and discharging section within a shield tube type plug cap. CONSTITUTION:A discharge current discharged from a capacitor 10 at a plasma ignition time flows to a plug 3 through a circuit stored at the inside of an insulation material 17a surrounded with a shield tube 17c. This reduces radio noises radiated from a connection wire on the way to the plug 3 from the capacitor 10, and besides, surrounding of the whole high pressure charging part 2a' with the shield tube 17a permits the effective suppression of the leakage of the noise to the outside.
