Abstract
PURPOSE:To easily clean oil smears, etc., collected on electrode materials by forming a covered layer of self-cleaning type catalyst on the electrode material on the smoke collection side. CONSTITUTION:A smoke-collecting electrode plate 14 whose both surfaces are provided with the covered layers 15 of self-cleaning type catalyst is attached to a device 11. A discharge wire 12 is provided in the face of the electrode plate 14, and oil and smoke-containing air is sucked in the direction arrow A'' by means of a suction fan 6. Then, oil and smoke particles in the air are electrically charged by coronal discharge generated between the discharge wire 12 are the electrode plate 14 by a DC power source 13 and then adhered to the catalyst layer 15 on the electrode plate 14.
