Abstract
PURPOSE:To raise the efficiency of dust collection by continuously scraping off dust by a means such as blushing, etc., by using a dust-collecting electrode rotatably provided in the charging portion of a two-stage type electric dust collector. CONSTITUTION:The dust collector consists of the charging portion 1 where charge is given to dust and the dust collecting portion 2 where charged dust is collected, in which the dust collecting electrode 3 of the charging portion is rotatably provided and thus dust adhered to the dust collecting electrode is scraped off by the blush 5 without impaction. And, the recoverer 6 is provided in a position surrounding the blush 5 to recover dust through the suction port 7 by a blower, etc., preventing the rescattering phenomenon of dust. Thus, inverse ionization phenomenon can be prevented even on the occasion of the collection of high resistance dust and therefore the efficiency of dust collection can be raised.
