Abstract
PURPOSE:To make an electrical connection work easy by a constitution wherein a connector terminal is provided solidly on an ignition unit, and the connector terminal is made to extend outward of a housing with the ignition unit set in the housing. CONSTITUTION:A grommet 13a is formed solidly on a diametral outside end of an ignition unit 13 in a distributor, and a pair of male terminals 16 are projected and retained radially from the grommet 13a. Thus a single ignition unit 13 is constituted compactly including the grommet 13a and the male terminals 16. Since a pair of male terminals 16 are positioned extending diametrally outside of a housing 1, a connector 17 having a pair of female terminals obtainable through connecting a power lead wire 19 and a coil lead wire 21 is fitted with the male terminals 16, thus simplifying an electrical connection work for the ignition unit 13, a power supply 18 and an ignition coil 20.
