Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent generation of chattering noise during low speed revolution by submerging a fluid resistance application plate in a lubricating oil when the gear revolution speed of driven shaft falls below a specified value while by separating the plate from the lubricating oil when the gear revolution speed rises above a specified valve. CONSTITUTION:A constantly engaged gear 2 is fastened to a driving shaft 1 while a constantly engaged gear 3 is also fastened to a driven shaft 4. And these two gears 2 and 3 are engaged with each other. A fluid resistance application plate 5, which faces the constantly engaged gear 3, is installed to the wall of a change gear case 7 at a point below an oil reservoir 9. At an oil level a during low speed revolution, the fluid resistance application plate 5 is entirely submerged in the lubricating oil while the fluid resistance application plate 5 is not allowed to be submerged in the lubricating oil at an oil level (b) during high speed revolution.
