Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform continuous soldering always well by using the pressing jigs which are rotationally driven at the same peripheral speed as the travelling speed of a line body behind the heating part of soldering the lap part of the copper tapes placed longitudinally in the lengthwise direction of the line body.
CONSTITUTION: Copper tapes 2 plated with solder material on respective one side of both side ends are placed longitudinally in the lengthwise direction of a line body 1, and are overlapped in such a manner that both side end faces having been plated with the solder material oppose to each other. At the time of successively soldering this overlap part by heating the same by using a torch 5, a drive roll 6 is provided at least behind the heating part out of before and behind said part, in order to closely contact the overlap part. At the time when the travelling direction of the line body 1 is in the arrow A direction, the travelling speed of the tapes 2 is detected with a line speed detector 7, whereby the roll 6 is rotationally driven in the arrow B direction in such a manner that its peripheral speed becomes the same as the travelling speed of the tapes 2; at the same time, the pressing force in the direction of pressing the tape 2 overlap part is exerted to the roll 6.
