Abstract

PURPOSE: To have stability at a low speed by a method wherein a slow fuel passage is interrupted only when a clutch is connected at a set speed or above of an automobile in deceleration and at the same time a gear shift position is not in any one of the neutral, top and overtop.
CONSTITUTION: A fuel cut solenoid valve 3 which interrupts continuity of a slow fuel passage 2 of a carburettor is provided to be controlled by a controller 10. To this controller 10 are connected a vehicle speed switch 4 detecting that a vehicle is at a set speed or above, a throttle switch 6 for detection of deceleration, a vacuum switch 7, a neutral switch 8, a clutch switch 9 and a top switch 11. The valve 3 is controlled to be closed only when a vehicle is at a set speed or above in deceleration with a gear shift positioned in none of the neutral, top and overtop and moreover a clutch is on.
