Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a stable NTSC color television signal, by detecting the phase difference between a tape line flip-flop signal and a reference line flip-flop signal, and inverting the phase of a color signal of the regenerative video signal, depending on whether the said phase difference is forward of reverse. CONSTITUTION:An output 61 of the variable delay circuit 60 forecasts the beginning of the next picture. The latch circuits 64 and 65 are latched at the same time by the forecasting signal 61. Immediately after the forecasting signal has been generated, the read side address is made to conform with the write side address. As a result, on the contrary, the phase of the write side against the read side can be fixed at the beginning of the next picture, and therefore, the phase of the output video signal does not move up and down nor trembles even in case of any special regenerative state.
