Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the breakage of a transistor for oscillation by providing a bypass between the base and emitter of the transistor for oscillation. CONSTITUTION:When the moving contact 3a of an electric source switch 3 is on the stationary contact 3b side, a main capacitor 13 is charged, and when a predetermined voltage is reached, a neon tube 17 lights to announce the completion of preparation for light emission. If the moving contact 3a is changed over to the stationary contact 3c side, the anode of the neon tube 17 is grounded; therefore, it immediately goes off, thereby indicating that the strobe has been changed over to an unsable state. Thence, the residual charge of the capacitor 13 is discharged through a resistance 15, the stationary contact 3c, the moving contact 3a and a diode 31 forming a bypass line. Hence, the voltage applied across the base and emitter of a transistor 5 for oscillation is absorbed by the diode 31; and therefore the breakage of the transistor 5 may be prevented.
