Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a proper braking power irrespective of speed by a method wherein a braking power working actually on a vehicle is detected through differentiation of the output of a speedometer generator and the fluid pressure corresponding to the above braking power and that corresponding to an instructed braking power are computed, thereby a brake cylinder is controlled.
CONSTITUTION: The differential pressure of the fluid pressure proportionate to an instructed braking power from that proportionate to an electric braking power is sent to a fluid brake cylinder as the output of an auxiliary relay valve 14 as usual by operating a brake control part 1. And also the speed of a vehicle detected by a speedometer generator 21 is inputted, as an output from the generator, in a multiplier 26 through the intermediary of an F/V converter 22 and a differentiator 23 and is multiplied there by the output of a load response device 25, thus the voltage proportionate to a braking power acting on the body of the vehicle being obtained. An electricity-fluid pressure converting valve 27 being controlled by that output, the pressure of the compressed air supplied through a branched pipe 29 from an air tank is converted into an air pressure corresponding to the braking power working actually on the body of the vehicle and the pressure obtained through the above conversion is sent out to the diaphragm chamber 31a of the 2nd auxiliary relay valve 31.
