Abstract

PURPOSE: To generate electricity by rotating a turbine in a certain direction through utilization of that expanding and contracting action of a fluid in a surging room which is due to vertical motion of the fluid in waving.
CONSTITUTION: The rectangular body of this device, open at its bottom, is provided with two surging rooms 1, 2 and, in the middle of the upper part of the body, a constantly positive pressure chamber 3 and a constantly negative pressure chamber 4 are formed with 4 check valves 7 arranged around the chambers as shown in the illustration attached. A generator 5 is installed in the negative pressure chamber 4 while a power collecting turbine 6 is installed between the positive and negative pressure chambers 3, 4. According to this arrangement, when the pressure in the surging room 1 is, as shown in the illustration, positive and that in the surging room 2 is netagive the surging room 7 is put in communication with the positive pressure chambers 3, as shown by the solid arrows, and the surging room 2 is with the negative pressure chamber 4. In the opposite case they will be as shown by the broken arrows.
