Abstract

PURPOSE: To permit fuel to be injected with high accuracy by adjusting the opening of a flow adjusting valve for controlling fuel flow of a feed pump in response to running condition and synchronizing a pulse motor for pivoting a fuel distributor with rotation of an engine.
CONSTITUTION: Fuel is fed from a feed pump 10 through an electromagnetic flow adjusting valve 12 to a high pressure plunger pump 11. A portion of oil discharged from the plunger pump 11 accumulated pressure in an accumulator 13. Also, oil discharged from the plunger pump 11 is introduced into a distributor 15 rotatably driven by a pulse motor 14 to be distributed to each fuel injection valve 6. Then, signals from an acceleration sensor 42, engine crank angle sensor 44, fuel temperature sensor 46, etc. are sent to the input of a control circuit 16 to increase or decrease controllably the opening of the flow adjusting valve 12 on the basis of signals of the acceleration sensor 42. Also, the pulse motor 14 is controlled by pulse signals sent out of the control circuit 16 and synchronized with the rotational frequency of the engine.
