Abstract

PURPOSE: To automatically identify a person easily and swiftly, by reading Register No. and collated signature on the signature form, and collating with the registered signature pattern corresponding to No.

CONSTITUTION: A signature image on the signature form 1 is converted photoelectrically by the sensor 6, the register No. which has been read by the character reading circuit 8 through the pre-processing circuit 7 is related with a signature pattern stored in the signature memory 9, and it is stored in the register signature memory 10. Subsequently, the signature is stored in the collated signature memory 9, also the register No. on the form 1 is recognized by the circuit 8, a registered signature pattern corresponding to the said No. is drawn out from the memory 10, and it is stored in the personal signature memory 11. And the contents of the memory 11 are collated with those of the memory 9 by the pattern collating circuit 12, and in case of coincidence, it is output as it is, in case of noncoincidence, the signature on the form 1 is read once again, it is stored in the memory by changing the processing standard of the circuit 7, and it is collated by the circuit 12. In case of noncoincidence even if the said pre-processing is executed by a fixed number of times decided in advance, the result is output as noncoincidence.
