The picture dependent upon the output of circuit 10 is displayed on display device 7 during adjustment of the shaping level of circuit 10, and only the picture dependent upon the read output from memory 17 is switched and displayed on 7 by switching mixing circuit 5 after the completion of adjustment of the shaping level.
