Abstract

PURPOSE:To deal effectively with fluctuation in the amount of consumption, by a method wherein each of LPG feed pipes from a plurality of LPG supply source is provided with a pressure reducing valve, and each pressure reducing valve has an opening degree so as to cause pressure difference between valves, when LPG is vaporized and supplied. CONSTITUTION:In a method for supplying LPG comprising connecting container groups 1A and 1B (each container group is composed of a plurality of container) through liquid feed pipes 2A and 2B and a liquid feed pipe 4 to an evaporator 5, and feeding LPG to the evaporator 5 to vaporize LPG; the LPG feed pipes 2A and 2B are provided with pressure reducing valves 3A and 3B, respectively. For example, the opening of the pressure reducing valve 3A is so set that the pressure at the valve 3A is higher than that at the pressure reducing valve 3B. LPG of the container group 1A where pressure is higher than that of the container group 1B, forms main stream. LPG of the container group 1B at lower pressure side does not flow. Pressure is reduced with the consumption of the liquid of the containr group 1A. LPG of the container group 1B which is a reserve line, begins automatically to flow. The supply of gas is smoothly continued.
