Abstract
PURPOSE:To decrease the aberration of electron beam which is not on the axis of the tube by arranging the array of three pairs of cathodes and the control electrode system, in turning by a fixed angle around the axis of the tube, for the array of three pairs of electron beam passing-through holes which are formed on a pair of yokes. CONSTITUTION:The array of cathodes 31a and 31c which emit side beam (and the control electrode system) is arranged through the turning by an angle theta around the axis of the tube for the array of the electron beam passing-through holes formed on yokes 7 and 8. The electron beam which is on the axis of the tube is oriented to the center of an electron beam passing-through hole 81b without influenced by the deflecting action of a transverse magnetic field. While both side beams are influenced by the effect of the transverse magnetic field, and when the beam reaches the electron beam passing-through holes 81a and 81c on the cathode side yoke 8, the center of the beam accords with the center of the electron beam passing-through hole.
