Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the blast and fuel supply pressures and to improve the thermal efficiency, by employing a U-tube accommodating a burner and a forced circulation apparatus so that a liquid may be directly heated and circulated. CONSTITUTION:Within the apparatus body 1 is provided the U-tube 2 that comprises a tube 3 in which an underwater burner 5 is provided and a tube 4 in which an impeller 10 is provided. The sectional area of the tube 4 is larger than that of the tube 3. When liquid is filled to a prescribed level in the apparatus body 1 and the impeller 10 is rotated, the liquid overflows from the tube 4 and flows through communicating ports 7 to drop between the tube 3 and a combustion cylinder 6. In this state, the underwater burner 5 is ignited to directly heat the liquid and to generate high temperature exhaust gas. The liquid flows through the U-tube 2 and reenters the communicating port 7 to drop to be heated and circulated, and the exhaust gas is discharged from an exhaust pipe 15. Thus the heated liquid can flow into a tank 14, and a low temperature liquid can flow into the apparatus body 1 to be heated.
