Abstract
PURPOSE:To accomplish a complete insulation between a coil end and a rotating axis by a method wherein an annular flanged insulator protruding from a commutator insulator is provided in such way that it is covering a point section of a shaft insulator to be provided surrounding a rotating axis. CONSTITUTION:A flanged insulator 11 protruding from a commutator insulator 7 is provided and a complete insulation is obtained between a core 1 and a rotating axis. The flanged insulator 11 is formed into one body with the commutator insulator 7, or it is fixed to the insulator 7 by a screw or by press fitting. Also the flanged insulator 11 is formed in such way that it is annularly covering a point section of a shaft insulator 6. To be more precise, the protruding length ''h'', protruding from the side of the commutator insulator 7, of the flanged insulator 11 is to be larger than the length L between the point of the shaft insulator 6 and the side of the commutator insulator 7. Consequently, the space between the shaft insulator 6 and the commutator insulator 7 can be covered completely by an insulator.
