Abstract
PURPOSE:To compare position deviations of a prime moving shaft and a driven shaft attached with agitating vanes owing to viscosity changes and detecting mixing effect accurately by connecting both shafts by means of a spring. CONSTITUTION:Discs 6 and 7 are mounted to shafts 1, 2 in such a manner that the grooves 6', 7' of said discs assume the same position. Next, when this agitating part is put in the treating material and is revolved, the shafts 1, 2 cause position deviations by way of a spring 2 owing to the resistance of the treating material. At this time, the pulse output Q6 by the groove 6' of a photointerruptor 9 operates a flip- flop 12 via an amplifier 11, thereby opening a gate 13. Then, a series of the pulse outputs Q1 of the photointerruptor 8 of the disc 5 are measured with a counter 14 by way of the gate 13. When the groove 7' comes to the position of a phtointerruptor 10 with theta delay, a pulse Q7 is outputted to close the gate 13. In this way, the pulses are counted by the number corresponding to the angle theta with a counter 14 and the count number is displayed in a display device 17. Hence, if the degree of agitating and mixing progresses and the viscosity changes, the deviation of the driven shaft 2 also changes and the numerical value corresponding to the viscosity is displayed in a display device 17.
