Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate the need for a backup cell built in a RAM or other load, by a method wherein, when check and maintenance of vehicles takes place, a harness for vehicle, which needs not to disconnect a power source of a load required for being always on, is obtained.
CONSTITUTION: A first and second power supply sources 41 and 42 are separately connected to a battery 1 for power supply through the medium of battery terminals 31 and 32. Loads 21W23 of, for example, a clock, an electronic tuning type radio receiver, and other devices provided with a memory unit which are required for being always on, are connected to the first power supply source 41. Loads 24 and 25, such as light, horn, which are detached from a power source by means of a key switch IGN, are connected to the second power supply source 42. This permits disconnection of a power source for ordinary loads 24 and 25 in such a state as continues to supply a power to memory units of the loads 21 and 23 by disconnecting only the battery terminal 32 when check and maintenance takes place.
