Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent oscillation leakage by increasing Q value by fitting an inner lead of a hermetic seal with a flexible member which is 0.5-2.5 times as long as the base of a quartz oscillator only and then by fitting the base of the oscillator to the tip. CONSTITUTION:Tuning fork type composite vibration quartz oscillator unit 10 is fitted to the tip of holding member 14. Holding member 14 is made of a spring material such as phosphor bronze, beryllium bronze and nickel silver and shaped in a channel shape, for example. The length of holding member 14 is 0.5-2.5 times as long as the base length of quartz oscillator device 10. This length is so set that when holding member 14 is considered to be part of the entire system of oscillation, the root part of holding member 14 at the hermetic seal 11 side coincide with the node of oscillation while the tip of the holding member is displaced following up the oscillation of the quartz oscillator base.
