Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain an electrophotographic receptor which is free from infiltration of resin into a photoconductive layer occluded with ammonia or amine compound and is superior in characteristics by applying a compound containing epoxy group on said photoconductive layer thereby providing a resin layer thereon.
CONSTITUTION: A photoconductive layer contg. photoconductive material (ZnO, phthalocyanine, etc.) is formed on a substrate and this is left standing in an atmosphere filled with an ammonia (or amine) gas, whereby ammonia (or amine) is occluded. Next, this is immersed in a soln. of a compound contg. epoxy groups (epibis type epoxy polymer, novolak type epoxy polymer, etc.), after which this is dried, whereby the resin layer is formed.
