Abstract
PURPOSE:To design a simplification of the control system by a method wherein a speed control is made according to the time differences that a same magnet is passed from one side to other of at least two pieces of hall elements provided near magnetic poles of a brushlles DC motor. CONSTITUTION:In the brushless motor of video tape recorder or others, a rotor is made up of a permanent magnet 6, and hall elements 8-10 are provided near magnetic poles thereof. Further, the output of hall elements 8 is given to a lamp signal generator 11, the output of hall element 9 to a differential pulse generator 12, these outputs are sent to a sample hold circuit 13 to control a motor coil 7 through a filter amp 14. Accordingly, to perform the speed control by detecting the around speed between hall elemens 8 to 9 and sample hold the time difference, it is no need to add the specific rotary frequency generator, thus the control in a high precision can be made by the simple constitution.
