Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce noise due to the wave-form of an output voltage by connecting rectifying devices in series to an interpole auxiliary winding to form a half-wave rectifying circuit. CONSTITUTION:The auxiliary winding 11 of interpoles 10 and 10 is set so that it delays by 90 deg. in phase by a field winding 8. Therefore, a current flowing therethrough, that is, an auxiliary current If0 delays by a phase of about 90 deg. from a field current If. Further, since the winding 11 has a number of turns smaller than the winding 8, the currents have a relationship If>If0. The current If0 is rectified by a rectifying device, and becomes a DC current pulsating at 2omega similarly as the current If. On the other hand, when a phase advancing current Ic+Ico of a capacitor exciting winding 2 gradually increases, the terminal voltage of a winding 2 finally reaches at a voltage estabilishing point. As a result, it is possible to eliminate the waveform strain of the output voltage and reduce noise generated.
