Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the length in the axial direction and the number of constituent parts and increase the air cooling effect of the subject motor by concurrently using the end plates of the fan with the brackets or yoke members of the motor. CONSTITUTION:An end plate 11 of these end plates 11 and 11' of a fan 10 is a magnetic material which is mounted on a rotaty shaft 6 in a state of being superimposed on an armature 3, covering the opening part of a motor case 2, rotating by maintaining a minute clearance with respect to the case 2, and draws in and blows out air as shown by the arrow P. A magnetic flux M which has left the N-pole of a magnet 8 enters an armature 3 and interlinks with a coil 3a, and returns to the S-pole of the magnet 8. In this magnetic path, while the conventional one has at more than two positions, the motor of the present invention has only one gap delta1. Accordingly, the length in the axial direction and the number of constituent parts can be reduced and the cooling effect can be increased.
