Abstract
PURPOSE: To ensure an indication for the area of a fire, by distributing the temperature detectors in series which are open-circuit when the ambient temperature exceeds the set level plus several units of resistance in parallel respectively and furthermore providing an ammeter in series to the temperature detector at the power supply input side plus an alarm and a no-voltage detection relay at the output side respectively.
CONSTITUTION: The power source is connected to the terminal 1 and 2 each, and then the temperature detectors F1WFn which are open-circuit when the ambient temperature of the bimetal, the fuse or the like exceeds the set level are connected in series via the breaker 4 and the ammeter 5 along with the resistors R1WRn connected in parallel respectively. The no-voltage detection relay 8 is connected to the output terminal via the contact 6 to give the force to the alarm 7, and the power supply pilot lamp 9 is connected to the auxiliary contact 3 of the breaker 4, In the normal state, the current iA flows to each of resistances R1WRn, and thus the ammeter 5 displays the niA. And in case a fire breaks at the n-th unit, the display is changed to the (n-1)iA to show the area of the fire. At the same time, the alarm 7 is actuated via the relay 8 and the contact 6. In this way, the area of a fire is indicated to the ammeter 5.
