Abstract
PURPOSE: To ensure an accurate detection of the travelling distance by the track corrector even in case when the backward motion may be given, by giving a control to the addition/subtraction numbers of the travelling pulses in accordance with the forward/backward motions and based on the two pairs of pulses having different phases delivered from the travelling detector.
CONSTITUTION: The detector 11 for travelling distance generates the tow pairs of travelling pulses 12a and 12b having the different phases with every fixed distance of the track corrector and then applies these pulses to the direction deciding unit 12. Thus the unit 12 applies only the pulse 12a to the up-down counter 13 when the track corrector has a forward motion for an addition counting to be carried by the counter 13, and then performs a subtraction counting via the counter 13 for the pulse 12b as the control signal in the case of the backward motion. Accordingly, the distance can be detected accurately even in case when the track corrector has a backword motion. And the input is inhibited to the D/A converter 15 via the inverter 16 in case when the track corrector has a backward motion from the starting point of the detection the travelling distance. Thus the miscorrection can be prevented.
