Abstract
PURPOSE: To treat excessive denitrification bacteria in an extremely easy and economical manner by a method wherein a denitrification procedure is divided into A and B and the excessive denitrification bacteria of a denitrification procedure B is transferred to a denitrification procedure along with a medium and, after denitrification bacteria is reduced, the medium is returned to the B procedure.
CONSTITUTION: A waste water is subjected to the nitration treatment in a nitration procedure 2 and dispersed with a denitrification bacteria medium layer in a denitrification procedure A to form a supernatant liquid 4 and, moreover, this liquid is subjected to the complete denitrification treatment in a denirtification procedure B and discharged as a treated water 8. On the other hand, denitrification bacteria is reduced in the denitrification procedure A and, because denitrification bacteria is increased in the procedure B poured by an org. carbon source 5, the control of the denitrification amount of both procedures is carried out by controlling the distribution of procedures A, B and a pouring amount of an org. carbon source simultaneously or individually. That is, the excessive denitrification bacteria of the procedure B is transferred to the procedure A along with a medium and, after denitrification bacteria is reduced by an internal breathing type denitrification reaction in the procedure A, said medium is returned to the procedure B.
