Abstract

PURPOSE:To spray a selectively communicated paint to an article to be painted succeedingly by supporting a rotary valve body communicated with a spray gun rotatably in a valve main body having pores communicating with plural paint tanks individually. CONSTITUTION:A step motor 25 is operated based on a predetermined signal to communicate, for example, a bore 22b among bore groups 22a-22d provided in series to an axial direction against a rotary valve body 22 freely rotated in a valve main body 21 with either one of penetrating bores 21a-21d, for example, a bore 21b succeedingly provided in a phase different from an axial direction position around the valve main body 21. The paint communicated with the penetrating bores 21b can be sprayed from a spray gun through an arranged pipe 12. If the bore groups 21d and 22d are communicated, a solvent is supplied into a spray gun from the valve through an arranged pipe 15a to wash out the residual paint.
