Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform highly precise temperature control, by constituting a temperature detecting thermosensitive portion of a secondary side fluid having a double structure, and introducing a primary side fluid into said thermosensitive portion to subject both fluids in the thermosensitive portion to heat exchange when the secondary side fluid stops its flowing.
CONSTITUTION: Within an outer pipe 70a of a temperature controller shell 70 for a heat exchanger is formed an inner pipe 70b in which the temperature detecting thermosensitive cylinder 8 is mounted. A high temperature water flowed from a primary side fluid inlet passage 2 passes through the temperature controller shell 70, that is, between the outer and inner pipes 70a, 70b, and is introduced into the heat exchanger 1, so that when the secondary side fluid is stopped, the secondary side fluid in the inner pipe 70b is heat-exchanged with the primary side fluid to be heated immediately to a temperature higher than a closing temperature of a temperature adjusting valve 4 to quickly stop the primary side fluid.
