Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable easy oscillation of transistors with a pulse by conducting thyristors with a cyclical trigger pulse given alternately so that the transistors switched ON is fully turned OFF while those switched OFF are turned ON. CONSTITUTION:A power source for reducing the time for accumulating charges of transistors Q1 and Q2 and a power source E2 adapted to concurrently serve as a power supply for commutation of SCR1 and SCR2 to switch the transistors Q1 and Q2 OFF are provided. For example, it is assumed that the transistor Q1 is ON while a transistor Q2 is OFF. When a trigger pulse is given to conduct the gate of SCR1, the transistor Q1 is fully switched OFF causing the transistor Q2 to turn ON. Upon the turning ON of the transistor Q1 turned, the SCR1 triggered is led to commutation. This can cause excitation with a pulse as easily as it could by heretofore done in triggering of the gate of the thyristor by use of a bipolar transistor or the like for switching element thereby eliminating short-circuit otherwise caused by accumulating charge.
