PURPOSE:To obtain rapid and automatic air-conditioning in a car-room even if the room temperature is greatly different from a set temperature by detecting the temperature in the car-room to be within the area of the set temperature and releasing or connecting the negative pressure chamber of a diaphragm to open and close an air-mix damper to the open air. CONSTITUTION:When the temperature in a car-room is under a set level, for example, below 20 deg.C, since thermal sensors 84 and 86 are opened, negative pressure switches 58, 78, negative pressure pipes 56, 82, 76, and an opening 88 are connected through, and the negative pressure pipe 56 to a negative pressure opening 54 on a rotary plate 32 is closed to connect the negative pressure chamber of a diaphragm 72 to the open air. Consequently, the diaphragm 72 is expanded to the maximum, and a damper 26 is opened to the maximum degree via a rotary plate 34 and a shaft 28. Subsequently, the maximum amount of air is conducted through a heater core 22 to raise the temperature in the car-room rapidly. On the contrary, for a high temperature, the damper 26 is closed to reduce the temperature rapidly. This construction permits to obtain rapid air-conditioning from a specific area of temperature without making any special operation.
