Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify the structure and to improve the durability of the polar electromagnet by a methos wherein the thickness at the inner side edge of leg piece of a yoke is made to be smaller than the thickness at the outer side edge, nonmagnetic plates are adhered to both inclining faces, etc., and both outer side edges of the leg piece are hinged to armatures. CONSTITUTION:The faces 6c of one side leg piece 6a of a yoke 6 confronting with both magnetic plates 1, 2 are made to incline making the thickness D1 at the inner side edge of the leg piece 6a to be smaller than the thickness D2 at the outer side edge, nonmagnetic plates 7 are adhered to the both inclining faces 6c or to the faces 1a, 2a of the both magnetic plates 1, 2 confronting with the both inclining faces 6c, and the both outer edge parts 6d of the leg piece 6a are hinged to armatures 4. Without excitation, the armatures 4 are in the state as shown in the figure (a). When a current is made to flow in a coil 5, the armatures turn reversely and the flux passes the magnetic path through the coil as shown with a chain line. When the exciting current flowing in the coil 5 is reversed, the armatures return again to the condition as shown in the figure (a). By this way, the durability of the device can be improved by the simple structure.
